Volunteering is a powerful way to make a meaningful impact, both in your own life and in the lives of others. By offering your time and talents through the church, you not only serve our community, but also grow spiritually and deepen your relationships with those around you. Whether it’s helping with a local outreach project, assisting in worship, or providing support to those in need, every act of service makes a difference. Volunteering is a rewarding experience that allows you to live out your faith in a practical way, while also experiencing the joy of being part of something bigger than yourself. Consider how you can make a positive impact by stepping into a role where your unique gifts can shine.
Here’s a practical way
You can help
What role do you have? Are you more than an observer? Everyone is welcome to show up on Sunday mornings when the Church gathers for worship. But if we want to be a part of the Church, if we want to be a part of God’s deliberate plan, then we need to fulfill our roles. As a part of the Church, we each have an essential job. See some opportunities to serve listed below and start today!
YOU’RE SMILE OPENS DOORS
Be a greeter
With just a little bit of training, you can welcome people to Sunday worship, help answer questions, and provide help to new guests.
BE AN ADVOCATE
Invite a friend
You have connections with people at work, in your neighborhood, among friends, even in your family. Tell them what you love about Church and invite them to come with you.
A POWERFUL, EFFECTIVE MINISTRY
Pray
Our prayer team brings requests, thanks, and praise to God in prayer. Join the chain to find out who and what to pray for. Mary Jo Ledyard leads our prayer team. And she’s happy to pray with and for you!
You can help to
Fund the mission
We share the financial responsibility to move the mission forward through our generous giving.
THIS PLACE IS A MESS (SOMETIMES)
Clean the building
Our cleaning team could use your help with sweeping, emptying the trash, and keeping things tidy.
USE YOUR GREEN THUMB
Landscaping and yard work
Those flowers aren’t going to water themselves. You can demonstrate our love for God and for our community by the way we keep the Church property looking beautiful and inviting.
NOBODY LIKES TO FEEL ALONE
Visit people
Your time and attention can help a lonely person feel loved. Pay a visit. Make a phone call. Send a text. Mail a letter. It will mean more than you think!
YOUR CAR IS A TOOL FOR JESUS
Offer a ride
There are a few people who have asked for help with transportation. If you have a vehicle, license, and insurance, you could offer them a ride.
DO YOU ALREADY WATCH THE LIVE STREAM?
